Question

I have a question for you all (I like to pretend that like 50 people or more read my blog, but I know it is at tops 5, but I'll just keep pretending). Have you ever heard of the notion that you actually turn your new age the moment you blow out your candles on your birthday cake? That idea has been circulating around my household lately, and it was news to me.

No, I haven't ever heard that!

That sounds like a great policy! It means that if I avoid birthday candles, I can thereby prevent myself from aging. :) If you let someone else blow your candles out for you does that age them? Hmmmm...

That must be why Bill's mom is still only 29!

I have never heard of that, but it has a cool sentiment.

I've never heard of that either. But it might be true, the last time my husband had a birthday cake with candles was when he was 10, that explains a lot.

I have never heard of this either. I turn a year older at 11:50 pm every July 3rd...that was the TIME I was born and I have always used that rational. Since I turn 30 next year I think I will go with the candle rational and never use a candle again and therefore never turn 30. Yahoo!
