Annika has become so talkative lately and talks about things that she has really been thinking about. Yesterday as we were on our family walk she says, "Mom I want a journal so I can write about lots of things every day."
"OK, sounds good."
"First I will write, 'My mom and dad are really sweet.'"
Ahhh. Isn't that better than a paycheck?
She also recently taught herself how to snap and how to whistle. How many 4 year olds do you know who can do that?

For some reason her talkativeness (is that word?) just seems so exciting every time we see you guys because it felt like she didn't talk forever! I can't believe she's already 4 years old!
Snap AND whistle?!?! Wow! My twin sister and I could each only do one (I used to envy her her whistling skills and she my snapping skills).
Hey, if she writes that first she can have as many journals as she wants! Definitely great Mom payment!
I love that she already wants a journal. My second son has been zipping through them since he was little.
Awwww. So sweet. And, the snapping and whistling is very impressive.
