summertime fun

Ariel holding Dallin this afternoon.
Today was the last day of swimming lessons, but we are considering continuing in the fall.
Emily holding
Dallin at Howard's. It was so great to spend time together, and as always she was such a great help with the kids
Us with Grandma Beth at Howard's

So as you can gather we went to Howard's house last Saturday. He invited us
because Grandma was in town to see the eye doctor (who she adores) about getting a tear duct drained. It was nice to sit and chat with her and she got to see Dallin for the first time. She made a really great blanket for him, I'll take a picture of it soon. It was so good to see our cousins and spouses and kids. Grandma informed me that in two years her branch of the Lemon family is in charge of the reunion, so maybe some of you can start planning on coming out for it.

This is going to be a short blog entry because I am busy reading Deathly Hallows, and
Eclipse and Fair is the Rose

That first picture of Dallin and Ariel is SO cute!

Is Annika saying any new words? :) Apparently I'm very anxious for this kid to start talking! :)

Which book are you reading at the moment?

Annika was actually putting a few words together today. While we were driving she kept repeating "our car driving" and she didn't see her shoes and said "where my shoes" a few times in a row. Some of her new words today were happy and cold (I think it's pretty cool that she is picking up on adjectives) she was saying " Happy happy happy" and giggling and she was saying cold after she got all wet.

Yay! I love to see how much she's growing! Her "row row row row" when we sing "Row Row Row Your Boat" is so cute! You should make a tape of your kids talking and singing. My mom did that when we were little and pulls it out every few years to listen to. She just told me about it again a few weeks ago and how much she loved hearing our little voices!
